ESPN"s Tony Reali Leaving 'Pardon the Interruption' to work for 'Good Morning America,' still host of 'Around the Horn' [VIDEO]

Tony Reali is the one racking up the points these days.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Reali, the host of ESPN's "Around the Horn" as well as the "Stat Boy" contributor on "Pardon the Interruption" now will add social media contributor at ABC's "Good Morning America" to his list of duties.

Details of his role on "Good Morning America" have yet to be finalized, but Reali told the Hollywood Reporter that expects to be on air two to three times per week.

"I love sports and I love ESPN, but there's a lot outside of sports that I like, too," Reali tells THR. "Just the chance to have one foot in and one foot out is a dream."

Reali uses social media for his role on "Around the Horn" and says he will apply that knowledge into his new role at ABC.

"We're still feeling out exactly what it is," he said. "In some ways, it can resemble a sixth-grade cafeteria -- and in other cases, it's a master's course in college where you can see different perspectives."

Reali joined ESPN in 2000 as a writer and researcher for the now-defunct ESPN quiz show, "Two Minute Drill." He joined "Pardon the Interruption" in 2001. According to awfulannouncing.com, Reali took over as host of "Around the Horn" when Max Kellerman left the show in 2004.

Reali will remain host of "Around the Horn," with the set moving from Washington D.C. to New York City, but will no longer appear on PTI.

"There's no other way to put it -- it feels like you're leaving the nest," Reali told the Hollywood Reporter. "It's where I got my start. I owe so much to them. They've been mentors."
