11. Tennessee Titans: Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
Perfect fit for Ray Horton’s hybrid 3-4 scheme. Scouts are cooling on Barr and is labeled as a high bust candidate, but the Titans don’t have many glaring needs. Coach Ken Whisenhunt has said the team wont go CB or RB with this pick.

12. New York Giants: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
In light of Eli Manning’s ankle surgery, the Giants need to beef up the protection for Eli. Lewan is the third best of the top OTs, but he would step in immediately and start for the Giants. Lewan has off the field issues that will have to be addressed, but the Giants have a strong core of leadership. The Giants could also go DT here.

13. St. Louis Rams: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama
Many reports claim the Rams won’t let Clinton-Dix get past them and Todd McShay has him as high as No. 10. Clinton-Dix is a talent that needs some coaching and disappears at times, but when your need is as dire as the Rams for a safety, Clinton-Dix can learn by experience.

14. Chicago Bears: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh
The Bears get the guy I have been penciling in for them at No. 14 this week. Donald is the final piece to the defensive line rebuild the Bears started in free agency. The Bears have established the offense is fine, but now we want to get to any quarterback at will. Donald will go a long way to seeing that plan through.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
The Steelers want to get younger and Gilbert isn’t the type of player Pittsburgh attracts. Gilbert is smart and plays the ball well, but doesn’t have the physicality the Steelers demand. I think he ends up in Pittsburg because he needs coaching that the Steelers excel at and already has abilities the established coaches aren’t particularly strong at teaching.

16. Dallas Cowboys: Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State
The Cowboys need help on both lines and Jernigan is at great value here. He has size and a certain agility to him that Dallas has lacked. He will pair well with Henry Melton on the defensive line and is one step closer to making fans forget DeMarcus Ware.

17. Baltimore Ravens: Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
The Ravens have a Rams cast off as their starting safety right now and could use an upgrade. The fact that TE Dennis Pitta is staying in Baltimore sways my hand away from WR here. Pryor is a big hard hitting safety that the Ravens covet.

18. New York Jets: Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State
The Jets will be drafting mostly, if not all, on offense. They luck out in the sense that this is such a deep WR class they can grab a guy like Cooks at No. 18. Cooks is a great route runner with sure hands, which is what the Jets need most. Cooks runs a great vertical route and will be the deep treat they have lacked.

19. Miami Dolphins: Zack Martin , OT/G, Notre Dame
Dolphins are still reeling from the bully scandal and needed to purge their already mediocre offensive line. Zack Martin comes in and is the starting RT immediately. He can also be groomed to take over for the inevitable Branden Albert injury in 2014 and his retirement in the next few years.

20. Arizona Cardinals: Johnny Manziel , QB, Texas A&M
The Cardinals are looking for Carson Palmer’s heir and Bruce Arians is incredible at developing offensive talent. Manziel is a wildcard that can go in the top 10 or could truly drop out of the first round. Someone we don’t expect could fall in love with him and snag him if he starts to fall. In this scenario he does.
