Terrell Owens owes the Internal Revenue Service nearly $250,000 in unpaid taxes stemming from the year 2012, the last season the former Pro Bowl receiver was in camp with an NFL team.
According to TMZ Sports. court documents reveal Owens owes $244,391.52 from that year, even though he reportedly made just $4,300 from the Seattle Seahawks before being waived in the preseason. The website adds it's unclear if Owens made additional income or what the source of it may have been during the year in question.
Over the years, Owens has experienced more than his share of issues with the IRS. Just last year, he paid off a $430,000 debt stemming from the years 2005 to 2009.

Owens is also embroiled in a bitter divorce with his wife of two weeks, postal worker Rachel Snider. The former NFL star, who once signed a single contract worth $49 million, filed for divorce on Valentine's Day and has since asked a judge to require his soon-to-be ex to pay all his legal expenses.
