Ultimate Warrior death: WWE plans four specials on Jim Hellwig, Hall of Famer honored at RAW [VIDEO]

The WWE has continued to honor the late Ultimate Warrior a.k.a. Jim Hellwig as the company paid tribute to him on Monday's episode of RAW and the organization is planning on airing four specials about The Warrior on the WWE Network.

Ultimate Warrior cause of death revealed

The WWE gave out Warrior masks to the crowd at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Alabama at Monday Night RAW and paid tribute to the 2014 Hall of Famer, who passed away last Tuesday night.

The WWE honored his memory on RAW by having a tribute video to the former WWE and Intercontinental Champion, showing his career highlights --including winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania VI from Hulk Hogan --while wrestling figures such as Hogan and Stephanie-McMahon Helmsley talked about him and his impact on the wrestling business.

The video ended with his Hall of Fame induction, which happened Saturday, April 5 on the eve of WrestleMania XXX in an event that many fans never thought they'd see. Warrior was inducted into the Hall of Fame and then made his first appearance in 18 years at WrestleMania the following night before appearing on RAW the next night to deliver a haunting speech about life and death and his legacy in what proved to be his final appearance.

The Warrior collapsed the following day when walking to his car with his family in his hotel in Arizona and eventually was taken to the hospital where he passed away. Autopsy results found that he died of a massive heart attack related to heart disease and that it didn't have to do with drugs or alcohol.

The WWE tolled the bell 10 times with all the superstars on the arena stage during Monday Night RAW after the tribute ended in recognition of his passing.

The company has also launched "Warrior Week" on the WWE Network in which they pay homage to his career. Here is the scheduled airing of Warrior-related content for this week:

Tuesday, 10pm EST - Warrior's Greatest Matches
Wednesday, 10pm EST - WrestleMania Rewind - WrestleMania 6: Hogan vs. Warrior
Thursday, 10pm EST - Warrior Biography: Ultimate Legend
Friday, 10pm EST - Legends of WrestleMania: Warrior

The Warrior had a tumultuous run in the WWE and had a falling out with a lot of people in the business, including WWE CEO Vince McMahon, but he was able to mend fences and get the sendoff he truly deserved in what proved to be his final weekend alive as his career came full circle.

Warrior leaves behind his wife Dana and two daughters, but the WWE Hall of Famer's reputation and legacy were re-built in the final weekend of his life.
