Ric Flair to WWE? Raw Spoilers and How It Can Change The Game at Extreme Rules

In a huge WWE Monday Night Raw spoiler for this coming Monday 4/28/14, it was reported that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will be in attendance. Flair's appearance can wind up being a real game-changer for the 2014 Extreme Rules PPV, since "The Nature Boy" was once a crucial part of the recently reunited Evolution faction that includes Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista.

According to PW Insider, Ric Flair's appearance on Raw does not mean that he will automatically rejoin Evolution and his role on the show is unclear at this time. This could also be a case of bait and switch by Evolution, where Triple H brings out Ric Flair and sings his praises, only to tell him that Evolution has passed him by.

I can easily see this building toward a scenario where The Game, The Animal and The Viper try to prey upon an older Ric Flair, but the The Shield storms the ring and prevents Flar from getting attacked by Triple H and company.

Of course, with Triple H and Ric Flair in the mix, anything is possible, and I wouldn't rule out a full-on Evolution reunion where Flair is used to lure The Shield out to the ring, but then Ric was in on it the whole time and he was simply used as a trap for Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

This would give Flair the chance to hit one of The Shield members with one of his patented low blows, and then join in on the fun with Evolution.

One thing I do predict is that whether or not Ric Flair is with or against Evolution on this week's Raw, I don't think this will be a long-term reunion, so enjoy it while it lasts.
