Former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart pronounced himself "embarrassed for" his fame hungry, reality TV ex-wife Porsha Williams following the much publicized, on-air brawl she had with castmate Kenya Moore that lead to her arrest.
Earlier this month, the 31-year-old Williams spent several hours in police custody and had to pay a $2,000 cash bond before being released on battery charges after attacking Moore during the March 27 taping of a reunion show for their Bravo-aired Real Housewives of Atlanta show.
"Kordell is distancing himself from Porsha, now more than ever," a source told RadarOnline.com. "During their marriage, he thought Porsha acted inappropriately to get ratings for the show and wasn't a good role model for his son. Her fight on national TV proves that."
The source later added "when Kordell allowed Bravo into his life, it went against everything he stood for. He is a very private person but compromised for fame-hungry Porsha."

After roughly just two-years of marriage, the couple formally divorced earlier this year and since that time have waged a public battle over what lead to their break up. Williams has publicly insinuated she now feels her NFL ex might be gay, and Stewart has countered the two largely split based of her wild and partying lifestyle.
