Kelly Returns To Lead No.3 Duke Over No.5 Miami, 79-76

Ryan Kelly returned to action for the first time since January to lead No. 3 Duke to a 79-76 win over No. 5 Miami on Saturday. Kelly sparked the Blue Devils offense with a career high 36 points.

Kelly injured his right foot in January and missed 13 games before returning to the Duke starting five against Miami. The senior went 10-of-14 from the field, while shooting 7-of-9 from the 3-point area.

Shane Larkin scored a team-high 25 points for Miami, while three other Hurricanes starters scored in double figures. However, the Hurricanes were outmatched by the sharp shooting of Duke, as the Blue Devils out shot Miami 52-to-43.8 percent from the field.

Duke gains some ground on the Hurricanes, who currently hold the top position in the ACC standings. Miami holds a two game lead over the Blue Devils heading into tournament play.
