According to reports in the BBC, Luis Suarez and his thirty goals are being pursued by Madrid, with the club preparing to offer £70 million. Last summer, it was Arsenal who thirsted for the Uruguayan's talents. The North London club, however, weren't willing to offer more than £40 million-plus-£1.

That won't be easy a second time around according to Edison Cavani. Suarez's compatriot and teammate on the national team believes an offer from Madrid would evoke a strong reaction. A year removed from his comments, there is nothing to suggest they still don't ring true (h/t to the Daily Mail). "I think Arsenal was not Luis's dream move. Maybe if it had been Real Madrid then it would have been a different outcome," Cavani said.
"But of course Madrid were concentrating on a different target (Gareth Bale) this summer."
