Sean 'Diddy' Combs To Buy Clippers? Hip Hop Mogul On Growing List of Interested Parties [VIDEO]

Sean "Diddy" Combs has emerged as the latest name to be bandied about as a potential buyer for the L.A. Clippers following NBA Commissioner Adam's Silver's lifetime ban of the league's longest tenured owner.

The hip mogul and cable network owner took to Twitter on Tuesday to post "I will always be a Knicks fans, but I am a businessman #DiddyBuyTheClipper#NameYourPrice."

Fortune Magazine recently pegged Diddy's net worth at $700 million, making him the wealthiest person in hip hop. Still, Fansided.com reports the 44-year Bad Boy record label owner would need to put together an impressive rostrum of investors to make a run for the Clips, a team that is expected to fetch upwards of at least a billion dollars in any sale.

Combs , who recently launched the Revolt cable network, is an avid NBA fan and is a permanent front row fixture at Madison Square Garden for Knicks games and during NBA All-Star Weekend.

NBA legend Magic Johnson, who is already part owner of both the Dodgers and L.A. Sparks, is also rumored to be interested in acquiring the team.
