Tonight at 7:05 p.m. ET on MLB Network the Seattle Mariners (10-14) will travel to the Bronx to re-unite second baseman Robinson Cano with his former mates, the New York Yankees (15-10) for the first time since he bolted to the Northwest for buckets of money. Lives stream the game by clicking this link; Mariners fans can find the radio broadcast on 710 ESPN, while Yankees fans may do the same on 101.9 WFAN FM. Chris Young (0-0, 3.50 ERA) will toe the rubber for Seattle against Yankees ace CC Sabathia (3-2, 4.78 ERA).

"It's going to be weird," Cano said of returning to Yankee Stadium. "It's going to feel a lot different being on the other side."

Since leaving the homer-happy ballpark in the Bronx, Cano has found it tough to hit for power. He only has one home run and 11 RBIs on the year in Seattle, but is still showing that he's one of the game's premier pure hitters with a .301 batting average. Still, with much less protection in the batting order and a more spacious home environment, the transition hasn't been 100 percent smooth.

When asked what he expects from the crowd, Cano said he hoped for a warm welcome but seemed resigned to some boos. "Hopefully good," Cano said. "The way that I left New York, it wasn't a good way. You just go there to play the game and try to beat them."

The highly-paid hitter the Yankees signed in Cano's stead, outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury, has hit very well in New York and lessened the blow. Ellsbury is batting .312 this year and has matched Cano's 11 RBIs despite hitting no home runs.

Cano avoided saying anything negative about the Yankees organization, despite saying he felt a lack of respect as negotiations were underway. "I don't want to blame anybody. I'm looking forward to going there," Cano said.
