NBA Boycott Rumors: Golden State Warriors Planned to Walk Off Court Before Donald Sterling Ruling? [VIDEO]

Adam Silver has passed his sentence on Donald Sterling off to the NBA owners and now we sit and wait for that meeting, but what would have happened if Silver didn’t drop the hammer the way he did? Reports are surfacing that the Golden State Warriors had planned for the worst with a very bold statement.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, the Warriors had decided amongst themselves that if the punishment wasn't to their liking that they were going to send a massive message during their playoff game.

The Warriors were going to go through pre-game warm-ups and take part in the national anthem and starting line-up introductions. They were going to take the floor for the jump ball, dapping up the Clippers players as is customary before games.

Then once the ball was in the air, they were just going to walk off. All 15 of them.

For the sake of the amazing playoff basketball that has been occurring, we should all be very glad that this didn't occur and the game went on as planned. In this time where we all debate who is rigth and wrong in this situation, would it have been right for the Warriors to walk off the court?

Donald Sterling Punishment Aftermath 

The subject is up for debate, but luckily for the NBA, they avoided mutiny by its' players with a punishment that was to the majorities liking. At this point, the NBA has to be looking to start to put the situation behind them and start the healing process with the amazing basketball that is ongoing.
