Best, Worst Picks of NFL Draft Day Two: Rams, Texans Win Big, Josh Gordon Suspension Ruins Browns Plans? [VIDEO]

Some teams won and some teams lost, thats just the way it goes in sports. The NFL draft was no exception as many teams had themselves great drafts and others are left scratching their heads and wondering what went wrong. Here are the winners and losers of the second day of the draft.

Winners:
St. Louis Rams:
The Rams have put together one of the best classes of this draft with players like Aaron Donald and Greg Robinson, but they added to it in the second day with Tre Mason. The Rams are following Jeff Fisher’s style up to his standard and time will tell if they can execute it.

Houston Texans: The Texans continue to knock the draft out of the park with all the value they scooped up on the second day. The pick of Louis Nix III in the third round is just criminal and the Texans gained a huge steal to occupy the middle of their defense for years to come.

Losers:
Cleveland Browns:
One day after the Browns rolled through the draft as big winners, they fall back to earth in the second day. The Browns knew that receiver Josh Gordon would be facing a potential season ending suspension and didn’t bother to draft a wide receiver through three rounds. The Browns have to surround Johnny Manziel with weapons or they will be selecting in the top five next season.

Quarterbacks: The quarterbacks were suppose to have a surge Friday, but after three rounds we have only seen five of them go off the board. The hype surrounding AJ McCarron and Tom Savage was just a smokescreen as they remain on the board going into day three. How much further will the signal callers slide?

Running Backs: The Titans ended the longest skid in draft history when they drafted Bishop Sankey at No. 54 overall, but the damage was done. The few running backs who went off the board went in the late second round for the first time in NFL history. The running back is becoming an endangered species in the league.
