CM Punk Quits WWE [VIDEO]: 'Best In The World' Resurfaces On Twitter and At Gym, Sets Date For Wedding With A.J. Lee

CM Punk is a native of Chicago and a noted Blackhawks fan, and with his favorite team entrenched in a battle against the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL's Western Conference Finals, Punk broke his Twitter silence to make a wager with the Kings mascot regarding the best-of-seven series.

Punk, who hasn't tweeted since the night of the Royal Rumble back on Jan. 26 -- the night before he walked out on the company -- started a Twitter wager with the Kings mascot, Bailey on Sunday prior to Game 1 of the series, which Chicago won 3-1.

The two placed a wager that if the Blackhawks lose to the Kings, Punk has to wear a Kings jersey at the United Center in Chicago while if the Blackhawks defeat the Kings, Bailey must wear a Blackhawks sweater at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Update On Injury To Roman Reigns

Here is the conversation between Punk and the mascot on Twitter:

Punk: "@BaileyLAKings Okay lion. When the @NHLBlackhawks win, you wear a Hawks sweater in the Staples Center. #LAKvsCHI #BecauseItsTheCup"

Bailey: "@cmpunk when we win you wear a @Lakings jersey United Center DEAL!!!! #LAKvsCHI #BecauseItsTheCup ITS ON!!!"

Punk: "@BaileyLAKings @LAKings deal. Silly lion. LETS GO HAWKS"

Bailey: "@CMPunk: .@BaileyLAKings @LAKings deal. Silly lion. LETS GO HAWKS". GO KINGS GO!!!"

Punk also surfaced at a gym in Florida that is owned by former WWE superstar Bushwhacker Luke. Luke posed a photo of Punk at the gym on Facebook, which can be viewed here.

The "Best in the World" appeared at Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, on Saturday to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" in the seventh inning. While he was there, he revealed that he and WWE Diva A.J. Lee will be getting married next month.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Punk said that during his time away from the WWE he has been playing a lot of NHL '94 on Sega Genesis and that he's won the Stanley Cup 18 times.

Punk walked out on the WWE on Jan. 27, prior to that night's Monday Night RAW live telecast likely due to his frustration with his placement on the card as well as him being burned out and tired of the rough travel schedule.

Punk walked away from the WWE, but he has kept himself plenty busy and continues to pop up in different places.
