TNA Rumors: Impact Wrestlers Contacting GFW? Dixie Carter Rips Jim Ross on Twitter after Podcast Comments [VIDEO]

TNA Impact Wrestling has become a circus both on camera and off-screen recently. While the new Knux Family carnival group Menagerie has shown to be a fun little diversion over the past few weeks on Impact, the real bazaar is certainly happening backstage in Dixie-Land with wrestlers supposedly contacting Global Force Wrestling for jobs and Dixie Carter starting a feud of her own with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are rumors that TNA wrestlers are becoming increasingly scared about losing their jobs because there is still no new contract in place with Spike TV. As a result, some of the contracted performers are contacting Jeff Jarrett's GFW and Ring of Honor to see about jobs just in case the TV contract isn't renewed and Impact goes out of business.

Meanwhile, Dixie Carter has shown signs of cracking under the pressure. Carter recently tweeted (and then deleted) a negative comment towards WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who has been critical of TNA's creative team in his Ross Report podcast. Carter wrote back to one Twitter follower, saying, "It's official. You know as little as the real J.R."

Jim Ross Comments on WWE Stock Price Drop, Bill Goldberg, More

According to The Observer, Dixie Carter "got hammered badly" for the JR comment and then allegedly tried to text Jim Ross directly to apologize. The report indicates she was likely "frustrated" by Ross taking the time to bury TNA creative, which is why she posted the remark in the first place.

The report goes on to state the obvious lingering issues with TNA's creative direction, which is that it always seems like Impact is being presented as more of a replication of WWE rather than TNA focusing on the idea of Impact being an alternative to Vince McMahon and Company.

Right now, TNA is definitely emitting a circus atmosphere behind the scenes, so perhaps this Menagerie ring entrance is simply a case of art imitating life in Dixie-Land:
