Floyd Mayweather Jr. Next Fight: Rapper T.I. Brawls With 'Money,' At Las Vegas Fat Burger, Opponent Still Undecided for September [VIDEO]

Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s next fight is scheduled for September 13, and there may possibly be a new candidate to be the opponent--rapper T.I. The rapper picked a fight with Mayweather in a Las Vegas burger joint over what appears to be a misunderstanding about Floyd hanging with T.I.'s wife Tiny.

According to reports, it was T.I. who instigated the brawl by taking a swing at the world's top pound-for-pound boxer. In a confusing scene caught on tape, the wild fracas involved thrown chairs and a slashed Fatburger employee according to TMZ. During the brawl one of the few things that can be heard clearly is Mayweather shouting at T.I. to "control your b***h."

TMZ is reporting that the altercation shocked Mayweather, who thought he and T.I. were friends. They're also saying T.I.'s rage was unleashed by a photo Tiny, whose real name is Tameka Cottles, posted on Instagram. She was photographed with Mayweather's daughter and referred to the teenager as "her new boo."

It's the kind of incident that the highest-paid athlete in the world would do well to avoid going forward, especially since he has no opponent lined up yet for his next fight. Floyd's coming off his toughest bout in years against Marcos Maidana, who used bully tactics and some illegal moves to close the talent gap.

Maidana is a clear No. 1 option for the September date in a rematch, but Floyd's father Floyd Sr. doesn't want his son to take the fight. "Floyd told me he wants to do it again," Mayweather Sr. said.

"But I already told him I don't think he should do it. The guy's nothing but an MMA fighter. He's twisting your arm, pushing you out of the ring, hitting you behind the head, hitting you below the belt, butting you in the head. That's not boxing."

There are rumors that Maidana plans on retiring if he doesn't get the rematch. "He said if he doesn't get a rematch he's not fighting again," trainer Robert Garcia said. "After Broner, he said if he didn't get Mayweather he was going to retire. He (Maidana) has a 100 cows, he's already set for life."
