Earlier this year, LeBron James offered his mentorship to then-NFL draft hopeful Johnny Manziel. But so far, it appears that Manziel has made more of an impression on James.

Fox Sports is reporting that the best basketball player in the NBA has taken the next step in promoting his NFL protégé, sporting a Nike-created (of course) "Money Manziel" camo T-Shirt.
It's the latest product in the business association between Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback and first-round Cleveland Browns draft choice. Not only did the two stars appear in a McDonald's ad, but Manziel hired Fenway Sports Management to oversee his marketing, the NFL.com explained.
When Fenway Sports Management, in partnership with LRMR Management -- James' marketing company -- announced it had signed the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner as a client in January, the Boston Globe reported that the goal was to help Manziel "transcend sports and become a global brand in the mold of James," the NFL.com added.

James has been a longtime supporter of Manziel, long before Manziel affiliated himself with James and his agency.
"When the opportunity was brought to me, I just told him if he's willing to listen to my advice, I was willing to give it," James said to USA TODAY Sports' For the Win. "I was texting him weekly, before the games and after the games. I didn't know it would lead to us being together with business, but I was happy to help."
Fresh Brewed Tees, the first company in Ohio licensed by the NFLPA to print Manziel shirts, already has a T-shirt out with the Manziel "Money Gesture" pose, calling it the "Johnny Manziel money tee."
It's likely that Nike might have a greater marketing campaign.
Described on Nike's website as "a T-shirt that pays tribute to a big-time football talent with a camo screen print", the 'Money Manziel' shirt is currently only available for pre-order.
Fortunately for King James, he has some ties to Nike and was able to sport the T-shirt in a photo that Manziel posted on his Instagram account with the caption "Finish them tonight @kingjames! New @Nike shirts on the way too #RWTW"
