Hunter Pence Scooter Returned After Giants OF Announces It Was Stolen [VIDEO]

Hunter Pence is having a solid year for the San Francisco Giants, but the reason he has made headlines this week has nothing to do with his play on the diamond. Pence announced earlier this week that his scooter was stolen, sending a lot of fans into a frenzy, but the outfielder has since announced its safe return.

Pence said that the motorized scooter that he rides to every Giants home game at AT&T Park due to the fact that he lives just a few blocks away was safely returned to police during the Giants' 5-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday.

Pence said that San Francisco reliever Juan Gutierrez told him in the dugout between innings that the scooter was safely returned to the stadium.

"He was like, 'They got your scooter!'" Pence told ESPN.

Pence told the media he didn't know who returned the scooter and that police won't search for the thief because he never filed a criminal complaint.

The Giants right fielder took to Twitter to announce his excitement of the return and also gave a shout-out to "Batkid," Miles Scott, a 5-year-old who was diagnosed with leukemia and saved the city as his favorite super hero through the Make-A-Wish Foundation in November.

Upon realizing his scooter was missing, Pence said he was willing to forgive the culprit if they returned the scooter with no questions asked and even offered a signed bobblehead for its return.

Pence and the scooter have been a staple of the Giants fanbase since he came over from Philadelphia in 2012, and the Giants even handed out bobbleheads of Pence on the scooter earlier this season.

The mode of transportation was stolen while Pence was at a restaurant on Sunday night. Upon his fans learning of the scooter's disappearance, the San Francisco fanbase was buzzing with outrage on social media.

"This was like a together-we-are-Giant type story," Pence said via ESPN. "Everyone had my back."

Pence ordered a new scooter and may auction off the old one to raise money for his charity. The Giants had a little fun with Pence over the scooter fiasco.

"We can all sleep tonight because he got his scooter back," Giants manager Bruce Bochy joked, according to ESPN. "I think whoever took it felt the pressure and said, 'Hey, I'm out of here. I'm getting rid of this thing.' But I know he's got a smile on his face now."

On the field, Pence is hitting .290 with six homers and 18 RBIs.
