Game 5 — Florida (51-12) vs. Oregon (55-7), 7 p.m.
Game 6 — Kentucky (49-14) vs. Alabama (51-11), 9:30 p.m.
The Women’s College World Series continues today as the full slate of action takes place on the ESPN family of networks. It’s double elimination and after the first day of action we now have out winners and losers bracket. The competition is fierce and the excitement has already hit a peak as many of these teams had to fight tooth and nail to get to the dance.
After today we will be left with two undefeated teams and everyone else on the verge of elimination. Florida and Oregon square off in a game where neither team allowed a run in the previous game, but something will have to give. Alabama is taking care of business as Kentucky walked away the only upset winner in a 4-1 win against Louisiana-Lafayette. The winners of today’s action will have earned themselves a day off as the renaming teams square off in a series of elimination games over the weekend.
Throw everything about the regular season out the window as these teams will be fighting for their playoff lives to take home a national championship for their schools.
