There have been preliminary plans in place for WWE SummerSlam where Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan would do battle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event, but due to Bryan's injury the plan has been up in the air.

The original speculation was that it wasn't officially penciled in as the main event due to Bryan's injury status and uncertainty of a return, but Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that a Bryan vs. Lesnar match is indeed what the company is planning on going with as long as Bryan gets back to full health.
Bryan underwent neck surgery in mid-May and a timetable for his return is unknown thus far, but August was a worst-case scenario so it is likely that Bryan will return in time for SummerSlam. The WWE is hoping to have Bryan back to face Kane for the title at Money in the Bank in a Stretcher Match.
Projected Card For Money in the Bank
The current plan is that if Bryan can't wrestle, the title will be put on the line in the Money in the Bank ladder match. It is unknown if Bryan will be ready to compete, but the WWE is working with a plan in place to have Lesnar battle Bryan for the title at SummerSlam.
Cesaro has been the speculated favorite to win the Money in the Bank ladder match and earn the title shot, but there's no telling if those plans will remain in place if the title gets put on the line. If the briefcase with a contract on for a future title shot is up for grabs, it is likely that the "Paul Heyman Guy" will win the match.
There was some speculation that Cesaro would win the briefcase and then cash it in at SummerSlam after Lesnar beats Bryan for the title. Lesnar, who carries plenty of momentum into the summer after ending The Streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, will appear from SummerSlam through September's Night of Champions.
With both men being managed by Paul Heyman, there is a plan in place to have Cesaro turn face, and the feud with Lesnar will likely be part of that, and will likely last from SummerSlam through Night of Champions.
