After a shocking twist in WWE storylines, The Shield was dismantled as a trio after Seth Rollins attacked Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns with a steel chair and joined Triple H and Randy Orton in Evolution last Monday on RAW. It appears the storyline will carry out for the rest of the summer.

Rollins appeared on SmackDown Friday, and with the Friday night show not being live, the WWE didn't give too much away with the storyline aside from having Rollins say that only he knows why he turned and he's the only one who needs to know. The WWE will further address the situation on Monday's live RAW.
According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the current plans for WWE Money in the Bank on June 29 at the TD Garden in Boston call for Rollins to battle Ambrose one-on-one and for Reigns to take on Orton in a singles match.

Reigns would then take on Rollins on July 20 at Battleground and then Reigns would battle Triple H in a singles match at SummerSlam on Aug. 17, in a contest that has been rumored to take place for a long time.
Reigns is due to become a monster babyface over the next few months, and his one-on-one exposure against Triple H will go a long way in establishing him as a rising singles star.
Regarding The Shield missing a member, WWE.com had an article up about possible replacements for Rollins in the trio should Reigns and Ambrose search for a new member.
WWE.com listed Adrian Neville, Big E, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, John Morrison and Daniel Bryan as potential replacements for Rollins in The Shield now that he has turned heel. In an interesting note, Morrison was the only non-WWE signed talent that was listed on the site.
It remains to be seen if The Shield gets another member or not, but the fallout of Rollins turning on Ambrose and Reigns is expected to dominate the storylines throughout the summer.
