Japan makes this list for one reason and one reason only: The irony surrounding the embroidered Pikachu logo on the kit. The iconic figure was named the nation's mascot for the 2014 World Cup, prompting the federation to release a special edition shirt. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your stance, the shirt was not made available for sale in North America.

4. Argentina Home Kit
Few national team kits have the timeless look of Argentina's. The white and light blue vertical stripes of La Albuiceleste remain prominent in the 2014 edition, but the added bonus of black stripes on the neck, shoulders and sleeves only accentuate the classic look.
