Money in the Bank 2014: Cena and Reigns Earn Spot In Match, What Happened When RAW Went Off The Air [VIDEO]

The WWE rounded out the field for the Ladder Match at Money in the Bank on June 29 at the TD Garden in Boston as John Cena and Roman Reigns each won matches on Monday Night RAW to advance to the pay-per-view bout for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Daniel Bryan To Tone Down Style Upon Return

Reigns won a battle royal by eliminating Rusev while Cena defeated Kane in a Stretcher Match as each advanced on to the Ladder Match. The final field of Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants now includes Cena, Reigns, Sheamus, Cesaro, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio and Bray Wyatt.

There were reports that a heel may walk out of Boston with the gold, and Cesaro was rumored to be the winner of the match. It has since been revealed that the title would be on the line rather than a briefcase with a contract for a title shot within the next year, so the plans could have changed.

Talent Worried Backstage About More Releases Coming

Kane was originally slated to face Daniel Bryan in a Stretcher Match for the gold at Money in the Bank, but Bryan's recovery from neck surgery has progressed slower than expected and a timetable for his return is unknown.

Kane's role at the pay-per-view now also seems up in the air as he will not be in the Ladder Match and can't face Bryan so he may not have any in-ring action at the show.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that after Monday Night RAW went off the air, Dean Ambrose recovered from chair shot attacks from Seth Rollins and hit Dirty Deeds on him. Cena then poked fun at Rollins and hit an Attitude Adjustment. Reigns then gave Rollins a spear to close out the night.

There have only been two matches announced for Money in the Bank with the Ladder Match being one and the other being a WWE Tag Team Championships match pitting The Usos against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

With less than two weeks until the pay-per-view, the WWE will likely announce more matches on next week's episode of Monday Night RAW.
