Paul Pogba struck at the 79' mark for France on a header past Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama for the deciding score. Mathieu Valbuena tacked on a second goal in additional time to seal the deal at 2-0. Valbueno was credited with the score, but it was actually an own goal off the leg of Joseph Yobo.
