Monday Night RAW Results: What Happened When RAW Went Off The Air, Reaction From Superstars [VIDEO]

After a memorable edition of Monday Night RAW that saw some surprising returns and started to build towards Battleground on July 20 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida, John Cena and Kane went at it in the ring once the cameras stopped rolling.

Four Big Matches Planned For August's SummerSlam

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that after RAW went off the air from Hartford, Conn., Kane went after Cena and went to chokeslam him but Cena reversed it into the Attitude Adjustment and laid out Kane to end the show.

Cena will put his title on the line against Kane, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns at Battleground later this month.

One of the highlights of the show was the return of Chris Jericho, who came out to interrupt the returning Miz and laid him out with a Code Breaker.

Jericho went on to continue his promo until The Wyatt Family came out and surrounded Jericho, which has led to reports that Jericho will battle Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam in August. It has been reported that Jericho's deal with WWE was finalized just a few days ago.

Jericho took to Twitter after returning and surprising the WWE Universe:

The Miz vented after getting interrupted and laid out by a returning Jericho, whose comeback seemed to overshadow the Miz's own return to the WWE:

In another shocking development on the show, A.J. Lee returned for the first time since losing the Divas Championship to Paige on the RAW after WrestleMania XXX on April 7, and she ended up winning the Divas Championship back from Paige in an impromptu match.

Lee had taken time off to move into Chicago with the now-departed CM Punk, whom she married last month. The marriage led to pregnancy rumors for Lee which were negated when she appeared on RAW Monday and was able to compete.

Paige had nothing to say after losing the Divas Championship while A.J. Lee was ecstatic:

The WWE announced two matches for the Battleground pay-per-view as aside from the Fatal 4 Way main event, there will be a battle royal to determine a new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

The title is vacant because Bad News Barrett suffered a legitimate shoulder injury at the SmackDown tapings last Tuesday and will be out for some time. The only entrants announced for the battle royal so far are Kofi Kingston, Cesaro, The Great Khali and Damien Sandow but more will be added in the next few weeks.

It was a memorable edition of Monday Night RAW as the WWE continued to roll through the summer with some surprising developments.
