Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET the annual Fourth of July Macy's Fireworks Show will commence on NBC to ring in another Independence Day. Those who have filled up on hot dogs and had their fill of baseball, or simply can't get out to one of the many spots around New York City where the fireworks will be highly visible, can live stream the show for free here by clicking this link.
The coverage begins at 8:00, but the skies will light up around 9:20. Click here for a visual map of where the best spots will be to catch the show in person. Independence Day revelers have a few options around the city where they can snag a great vantage point.
The Brooklyn Bridge Park Piers 1-6 are a good place to settle in, as are the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and the FDR Drive. Live streamers will be treated to a slew of performances from top-level artists including Enrique Iglesias, Ariana Grande, Miranda Lambert and Lionel Richie.
The real star of the show will be the Brooklyn Bridge, however, which will be emphasized for this year's display. Amy Kule, Executive Producer of Macy's 4th of July Fireworks, spoke with CBS about having the iconic structure featured. "We are thrilled to be working with our partners in the City of New York to have the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge as our canvas and stunning backdrop for this year's bigger-than-life display."
