The Cleveland Cavaliers believe that LeBron James is listening to their pitch, but what can the team do to sweeten the deal even further? The Cavaliers want to shed some cap space to make room for James, but they could also use their assets to acquire Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love.

Rockets to Trade Lin to Make Room for Bosh?

According to ESPN and the ESPN NBA trade machine, the potential trade of Love to the Cavaliers could happen. The Cavaliers would deal Anderson Varejao and No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins to the Timberwolves for the All-Star forward.

This move would be the big one that could bring LeBron James to Cleveland with a brand new “Big 3.” The grouping of Love, James and point guard Kyrie Irving could be the best combination of players any team could offer LeBron.

The Cavaliers are already attempting to move around pieces in an attempt to both create salary cap space and move better talent into town. The Cavaliers are in talks with the Brooklyn Nets about a potential swap of Jarrett Jack for Marcus Thornton that could free up additional money.

Five Teams Meet With LeBron's Agent

In the myriad scenarios that have have been discussed in regards to LeBron, the Cavaliers freeing up space and making a final push for James seems the most likely. The Cavaliers have the talent on their roster and the location that could convince James that a homecoming in Cleveland is the move that makes the most sense.

The Cavaliers are the latest team to be rumored to be in the lead for LeBron James, but making moves on Kevin Love and/or freeing up more salary cap space could turn those rumors into a reality.
