Cleveland Browns Rumors: Johnny Manziel Asked to Leave Nike's High School Camp [VIDEO]

Believe it or not, there are people who do not know who Johnny Manziel is by face. Manziel was asked to leave Nike's The Opening football camp after a member of security didn't recognize him.

According to Kipp Adams of 247Sports, a member of the security staff at the event didn't recognize Manziel at the event and asked him to clear the area. Manziel didn't cause a stir and simply left the premises.

"Per Wahoos247 Insider Jamie Oakes, Manziel was asked by security at The Opening to leave the area. While this might raise some eyebrows based on recent events, it turns out the staff security simply did not know who 'Johnny Football' was. ...

Oakes reports: 'To Manziel's credit, he didn't bat an eye and walked off as requested.’ "

Manziel didn’t create any waves concerning the incident and, ironically, signed to Nike earlier this year. Manziel was able to take part in the camp earlier in the week and spoke to the young athletes about “dominating the future.”

No matter where Manziel goes, it seems the spotlight finds him, but it is encouraging to see that he has a level head on his shoulders when faced with a difficult situation. The Cleveland Browns open up training camp on July 25 and Manziel is expected to be in the running for the staring quarterback position.
