WWE Rumors: Ric Flair To Appear With Hulk Hogan On RAW, Update On His WWE Status [VIDEO]

The WWE is planning on a lot of surprises for Hulk Hogan's birthday celebration on the go-home episode of RAW this Monday and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is likely to appear on the company's final flagship program before SummerSlam.

Hulk Hogan Wants To Wrestle One More Match, nWo Reunion Confirmed

There have been reports that Scott Hall and Kevin Nash will be on RAW for an original nWo reunion alongside Hogan and that Jimmy Hart -- Hogan's longtime manager and friend -- and Flair will both be in attendance as well among others.

The company expects Hogan to get a great reaction on Monday night as he will make his first appearance in Portland, Ore. since he wrestled Flair on Nov. 14, 1991, which could even be addressed when the two cross paths.

Regarding Flair's WWE status after his recent segment with Renee Young on RAW, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that WWE creative has not yet come up with an idea for him to return to the screen as a full-time character, so things are up in the air for the Hall of Famer.

Flair's appearance alongside Young on RAW recently was reportedly entirely scripted word-for-word except for the part where Flair told the fans about what he has done in Richmond in his career while saying they should, "ask your mothers and fathers."

The reason Flair hasn't appeared on television since that segment is because WWE creative is still trying to figure out what to do with him on-screen. The original reason why Flair was on RAW in Richmond was to get him back on WWE TV full-time, but the company has kept him off their shows as they mull what to do with him.

There were reports that Flair would reunite with The Miz, but the WWE Intercontinental Champion is a heel now and it is doubtful fans will boo "The Nature Boy."

Flair has reportedly wanted to work with Dolph Ziggler, but the WWE didn't want to push "The Showoff," though he is ironically taking on Miz at SummerSlam on Aug. 17 at the Staples Center in L.A.

It remains to be seen what Flair's full-time role will be, but he is slated to appear for Hogan's celebration this week on RAW.
