Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the episode of SmackDown before SummerSlam from Seattle.
Jim Ross Praises Monday Night RAW
In the main event of the evening, Roman Reigns defeated The Miz after Miz tried to bail on the match but was thrown back in the ring by Dolph Ziggler and defeated.
The Miz and Reigns kicked off SmackDown with a MizTV segment that saw Reigns deck Miz in the mouth after he interrupted him. Reigns then cut a promo on defeating Randy Orton at SummerSlam.

Dean Ambrose was in action and defeated Cesaro after which Seth Rollins came out and cut a promo on facing Ambrose at SummerSlam.
In other action, Ziggler defeated Titus O'Neil, Mark Henry and The Big Show beat Luke Harper and Erick Rowan after Mark Henry defeated Harper by disqualification following interference by Rowan. Kane then made the tag team match.
Elsewhere on the program, Jack Swagger defeated Bo Dallas and Rusev and Lana then came out and interrupted Swagger's celebration.
In Divas action, Eva Marie defeated AJ Lee by countout after Paige chased Lee to the backstage area. Paige then beat up Lee in the ring.
This episode of SmackDown airs just two nights before SummerSlam and continued the final buildup to the biggest event of the summer.
