WWE Rumors: Daniel Bryan Pulled From Tour, Wants Match With Brock Lesnar [VIDEO]

Injured WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan was advertised for the company's European tour in November, but he was recently pulled from the events and also spoke about wanting to face Brock Lesnar when he returns to action.

Bryan has been sidelined since mid-May after he underwent surgery on his neck to fix an injury that accumulated from years of wear-and-tear put on his body due to his in-ring style. The procedure happened just over a month after Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX in April.

Bryan was then stripped of the title in his absence and he is expected to tone down his in-ring style if and when he returns to action.

Backstage Reason Why Batista's Guardians of the Galaxy Wasn't Promoted

There is a possibility that Bryan will undergo a second surgery since he hasn't regained full strength in his arm after the first one. Despite this, Bryan was being advertised for the European tour in November, but Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the company has pulled him from the shows.

The WWE was reportedly going to use Bryan in a non-wrestling role on the tour as he is slated to miss at least three more months if he has another operation and still doesn't have feeling in his arm so wrestling is out of the question.

Bryan spoke to BetweenTheRopes.com and said he would like to battle WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar when he is ready to return.

"Brock Lesnar is, right now, out of all the WWE superstars currently active, Brock Lesnar is the one that I want," Bryan said. "That's the match that I want. I think that match would be something different than the WWE Universe has ever seen. So, yeah, that's the match that I'm gunning for."

Bryan's return date is up in the air as doctors still haven't decided if he should undergo a second procedure, but he has been pulled from the November shows and may not return in 2014.
