WWE Rumors: Second Surgery For Daniel Bryan Not Likely, Brie Bella Updates Health

WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan reportedly doesn't need a second surgery which means he may end up returning to the company soon.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Bryan's wife Brie Bella said her husband won't need a second surgery when she was making media appearances to promote E! Network's Total Divas, which returned for Season 3 Sunday night.

The report indicates that doctors made their decision this past week. Bryan has been sidelined since mid-May due to neck surgery from injuries he sustained from years of wear-and-tear on his body due to his in-ring style.

After the surgery, Bryan didn't regain full feeling in his right arm, which led to the belief that he might need a second operation. If what Bella reportedly said during the media appearance is any indication, it looks like Bryan won't need the operation while it is unknown when he will return.

Bella noted that Bryan is slowly regaining feeling in his arm and is continuing to rehab the injury as he slowly works his way back to the ring. WWE officials are hopeful that Bryan will be back in three months, but when he does return it is expected he will tone down his in-ring style.

The original procedure came just over a month after Bryan defeated Triple H and went on to beat Randy Orton and Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the same night at WrestleMania XXX on April 6 in New Orleans, which was a crowning achievement in his career.

Once it was revealed Bryan wouldn't return, the WWE had to change a planned feud between him and Brock Lesnar, and opted to put the title on John Cena, who lost to Lesnar at SummerSlam on Aug. 17 and will face him in a rematch at Night of Champions on Sept. 21 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

While there is some good news for Bryan, there is still no word on when he will return to the ring as he works his way back from neck surgery he underwent four months ago.
