War Machine Latest: Disgraced MMA Fighter Posts Poems on Twitter While Awaiting Trial [PHOTO] [VIDEO]

Disgraced former mixed martial artist War Machine is currently awaiting his next appearance in court for his alleged assault of ex-girlfriend Christy Mack, but somehow his Twitter account was active on Thursday and Friday.

War Machine, born Jonathan Koppenhaver, is scheduled to appear in court Oct.17 for a preliminary hearing and is currently at Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. Deadspin reports that Mack, born Christine Mackinday, is expected to testify at the hearing. First he posted a Nietzsche quote late last night:

On Friday he posted two poems. They have to be blockquoted here because they run well over 140 characters:

Roses are red

I found a man in our bed.

Than to discover this...

I'd rather be dead.

So hurt and confused

My heart has been abused.

Too beautiful our plans

To not be used.

How could you forget

And carry on with no regret?

You're a stranger now...

You sold your soul I bet.

Publicity, money, fame

Is this all just a game?

It was you who I loved ya know...

Not just a name.

Yes, I'm that bored. Hope you enjoyed the attempt at levity (at my expense) in the first 2 lines...FML.

Here is the second:

Pain!

On the inside

Pain!

I wish it were outside

Pain!

How can I fight it?

Pain!

I can't even hide it.

Pain!

Not cured by a pill.

Pain!

It's testing my will.

Pain!

Deeper and deeper.

Pain!

I pray for the reaper..

Koppenhaver faces 31 felony counts, including two counts of attempted murder, and plead not guilty at his first court appearance in September. He is accused of attacking Mackinday and Corey Thomas in her Las Vegas home on Aug. 8. The alleged assault left Mackinday with multiple injuries including a lacerated liver, 18 broken bones and two missing teeth.
