Darren Wilson Support: Cardinals Fans, Michael Brown Supporters Clash During NLDS Protest [VIDEO]

A Monday night that should have been a celebration in St. Louis turned extremely ugly when Cardinals fans clashed with a small group of protesters who were calling for the arrest of Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson. Wilson fatally shot unarmed teenager Michael Brown in August.

Deadspin was first to report the video captured by Argus Streaming News of Cardinals fans berating the protesters with racist insults. The video, which can be seen at the bottom of the page, runs for more than 25 minutes, so Deadspin made note of some of the instances of disgusting actions by the Cardinals fans.

Twenty-two seconds into the video, an older white male starts telling the protesters, who all appear to be black, that they need to get jobs. "That's right!" he yelled into the camera. "If they'd be working, we wouldn't have this problem!"

The fans then go into a "Let's Go Cardinals!" chant in an attempt to drown out the protestors, which is later turned into a "Let's Go Darren!" chant. One fan was even seen wearing a sign that says "I am Darren Wilson" taped to the back of his Cardinals jersey.

A little past the 10-minute mark a blonde woman yells, "We're the ones who gave y'all the freedoms that you have!" A few minutes after that the fans start a loud "USA! USA! USA!" chant. Not long after that, a female fan starts chanting, "Africa! Africa! Africa!" at the protesters.

The Cardinals took a 2-1 series lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS with a 3-1 home win on Monday. But after these ugly actions by the St. Louis fans, it's hard for anyone to focus on baseball when these ugly instances of blatant racism occur.
