Tonight at 8:25 p.m. ET the Indianapolis Colts (3-2) and Houston Texans (3-2) will cash at Reliant Stadium in an AFC South clash that could have playoff implications down the road. The Texans have several banged up players, including running back Arian Foster. The Colts' defense has struggled against the run this season, and a frustrated Foster isn't happy he's playing on short rest.
"It's annoying for players," Foster said. "I don't know one player that likes it. I really don't know a fan that likes it, either. I think it's just the league's way of trying to generate more revenue. Nobody is ready to play physically after a Sunday game. But you've got to go out there and do it."
Foster is among the NFL's top rushers, averaging over 100 yards per game. The Colts, however have one of the NFL's best passing games thanks to quarterback Andrew Luck. The Texans think they're in a better spot than most to contain him, however, because of their familiarity.
"The good thing about the Colts is that we're very familiar with them. Of course you have a different game plan than we've had in years past, but as far as the personnel and things like that we kind of know what to expect. So that makes it a little bit easier, but it's never easy," offensive tackle Duane Brown said.
