WWE Rumors: Daniel Bryan Unlikely To Return By Royal Rumble 2015 [VIDEO]

Injured WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan had been expected to return for the Royal Rumble in January 2015, but now it appears as though the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will not be healthy enough to return that soon.

Update On Kurt Angle's Negotiations With WWE About Return

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Bryan is still not regaining strength in his arm and word is that he may once again be considering a second surgery due to the loss of feeling following the original procedure on his neck.

Bryan recently revealed that he didn't believe a second procedure would be necessary, but obviously things have changed now that he still hasn't been able to gain strength in his arm through rehab after undergoing surgery on his neck in mid-May that has sidelined him ever since.

Plans And Rumored Matches For WWE Hell in a Cell

Bryan was looking to have the second surgery back in August, but he said around SummerSlam time that doctors had advised him that he maybe wouldn't need a second operation.

Bryan said in interviews during SummerSlam weekend that he was hopeful to just get the surgery over with so that he would be able to spend this time recovering and return rather than put off the surgery and make his timetable for a comeback even longer, but now that has happened.

Per the report, it now seems as though Bryan won't be back in time for the Royal Rumble in January, but he may be able to return in time for WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Bryan had a career-making night at WrestleMania XXX on April 6 in New Orleans, defeating Triple H and going on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Randy Orton and Batista to close out the show.

Bryan then engaged in a feud with Kane in the aftermath of the Show of Shows until the neck injury sidelined him and canceled a program he was rumored to have with Brock Lesnar leading into SummerSlam and Night of Champions.

Cena took Bryan's place, winning the vacant gold at Money in the Bank and dropping to Lesnar at SummerSlam before picking up a DQ victory the following month.

It's more bad news for Bryan as it seems his recovery has once again taken a hit.
