According to her personal website, Palmer has been painting for the majority of her life. She describes herself as a "self-taught artist" and she's currently attending art school at UCLA.

Palmer has been a full-time Octagon Girl for the UFC since 2011, and is good friends with Arianny Celeste. She got her start as a mixed martial arts ring card extraordinaire for the WEC. She posed for Playboy in 2012 and landed at number-67 on Maxim's "Hot 100 list in 2013.
