Percy Harvin Trade Reaction: Seattle Seahawks Players Voice Disappointment on Twitter [PHOTO] [VIDEO]

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to trade Percy Harvin to the New York Jets, and at least two of his teammates are sad to see the young wide receiver go.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports was first to report the trade via his Twitter account. A short while afterward, Seattle's star running back Marshawn Lynch took to his profile (@MoneyLynch) and posted a tweet saying, "Damn they got my n----...." Apparently the two were close, and Lynch retweeted this photo a few weeks ago:

Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril also took to Twitter to express his disappointment in the trade:

The Seahawks will reportedly receive a conditional draft pick in 2015, which will range from a second- to fourth-round pick according to ESPN.

Harvin has 22 receptions for 133 yards and no touchdowns in five games this season. He also has 92 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown on 11 carries. The Jets are in need of help at the wide receiver position, so the addition of Harvin does improve their offense which ranks last in the league with 185.4 passing yards per game.

Harvin is an athletic and explosive playmaker that can be used in a variety of gadget plays New York likes to run, such as the wildcat formation. But his actual receiving skills are limited as he is not a very good route runner. Still, the addition of an experienced wide receiver will help the development of second-year quarterback Geno Smith.

On March 11, 2013, Seattle traded first- and seventh-round picks in 2013 and a third-round pick in 2014 to the Minnesota Vikings for Harvin. He was then signed to a six-year $67 million contract with $25 guaranteed.
