GIANTS vs ROYALS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: WORLD SERIES Game 2 Live Coverage from Kansas City

The Royals train was derailed by San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner in Game 1 of the World Series, where the Royals suffered a 7-1 loss, their first of the 2014 postseason. Tonight they will take the field at Kauffman Stadium for Game 2 on Fox, which can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Royals fans can hear the radio broadcast on KCSP 610, while Giants fans may do likewise on 680 KNBR. The Royals will have fireballer Yordano Ventura on the hill against Jake Peavy.

The Royals are projecting that they're unshaken by the Game 1 loss, after reeling off eight wins in a row. "We didn't expect to come in here and sweep the San Francisco Giants," Royals manager Ned Yost said.

"We knew that this was a series that was going to go deep. We know how tough they are. They swung the bats really well."

The Royals hope their bats can wake up against Peavy, a veteran starter with a shaky postseason history. In 32 career postseason innings Peavy's posted a 7.03 ERA. That number is skewed by an eight-run disaster in his first ever start in the playoffs, but removing it still leaves him with a 5.53 mark in six starts.

Ventura's been up-and-down in these playoffs as well. He nearly blew the Royals' chances at reaching this point in their wildcard game against Oakland, where he served up a two-run home run. Ventura said he's moved past that, however, and plans to not focus on the pressure of the situation.

"For me, another thing I focus on is to live day by day," Ventura said. "Really, what happened (against) Oakland, I had moved past that."
