Smoke has returned to the social media world.
Fox News reported Tuesday that NASCAR drive Tony Stewart is using his Twitter account again after a nearly three-month hiatus.

The tweets were Stewart's first since Aug. 8, the day before he hit and killed Kevin Ward Jr. with his car in a dirt-track race in Canandaigua, N.Y.
The three-time NASCAR champion is not a die-hard social-media practitioner; he has just 119 tweets since he opened his account in mid-May. Still, he has 304,000 followers.
But the tweets are the latest example that Ward's death no longer is hanging over Stewart's psyche.
Stewart skipped three races after Ward's death in an attempt to come to terms with what happened to Ward. When he returned, Stewart certainly lacked the intensity to jump back into the fray in terms of competing for wins and displaying the attitude it took to compete in NASCAR's playoff.
He finished fourth in a race last month and then ran a 200 mph practice lap at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend. Now, Stewart is willing to go onto Twitter, risking tweets from Ward's family or supports that might aim to discredit the former NASCAR Sprint Cup champion.
An investigation cleared Stewart of wrongdoing in connection with Ward's death. The 19-year-old Ward and Stewart were racing side by side when Ward veered off into a wall during the Aug. 9 race. He got out of his car and approached Stewart's car as he was racing by. Stewart's right rear tire caught Ward and hurled him 50 feet to his death.
An autopsy revealed that Ward had marijuana in his system, but Ward's family still is considering whether to bring a civil lawsuit against the 43-year-old Stewart.
