The Big Ten will likely be decided on Saturday as No. 8 Michigan State Spartans host the No. 14 Ohio State Buckeyes for all the marbles and possibly a trip to the College Football Playoff.
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio spoke about the matchup and practically guaranteed a victory for the Spartans this weekend.
"I've said since I've been here the coaching that goes on in this league is outstanding. You see different ways people are running the football, different ways they're passing the football," Dantonio said. "Very innovative, cutting-edge offensive football being played in this conference on a week-to-week basis. I think you see the same thing defensively."
These teams have heard all year that neither has a quality win due to the Big ten being less than great this season, but not they get to take out that frustration on each other. Michigan State can take the next step with a huge win against the Buckeyes and possibly leap frog some teams on their way to the top.
Ohio State leads the all-time series against Michigan State 28-14, but the Spartans have taken two of thefts three against the Buckeyes. Ohio State won five-straight against Michigan State from 2002 to 2008.
