ASTROS vs TIGERS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from COMERICA PARK DETROIT

The Detroit Tigers (22-15) will look to continue their two-game winning streak when they host the Houston Astros (10-30) Wednesday at Comerica Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:08 p.m. ET and can be seen live on Fox Detroit, MLB.com with a paid subscription or free online here.

Houston currently faces six-game losing streak and is facing a Detroit team that currently holds a 7-0 advantage in the season matchup between the two teams. Fittingly, the pitching matchup will reflect the series record between the two teams.

Detroit will start Max Scherzer (5-0) who has been stellar with a 3.61 ERA and a perfect win-loss record. Scherzer is coming off an eight inning outing in which he allowed four earned runs while capturing his fifth win.

The Astros will send out Dallas Kuechel (0-1) who is winless since taking over starting duties from his former reliever role.

Houston is batting .178 with nine extra-base hits in the six matchups this season and have to face Scherzer after he limited them to one run and three hits over eight innings of a 17-2 victory in Houston on May 4. The right-hander is among the major league leaders with 61 strikeouts and has walked nine in 47 1/3 innings this season.

Houston has struck out an MLB-worst 400 times this season, including 55 in 208 at-bats against Detroit while walking nine times.

"We have spurts where we have good at-bats, but there are other times where we miss the pitch we need to hit, or when we are taking the pitches we need to attack," Astros manager Bo Porter told ESPN. "The key to making it in this league is figuring out the pitchers and how they are trying to get you out. You need to be able to adjust to the way they are attacking you, and we aren't there yet."
