To be fair, conspiracy theorists should also note that he follows Manchester City and Newell's Old Boys on Instagram as well.
But where there's smoke, there's fire.
According to Sport (via Goal Transfer Talk), Chelsea have been in contact with Messi's father to discuss bringing the 27-year-old to London in the summer. Per the reports, the club is prepared to pay his €250 million release clause.
Conspiracy theorists, however, should also take note of Jose Mourinho's refuted claims from last November.
