Manchester United Transfer News: €150 Million Bid Prepared to Lure Gareth Bale from Real Madrid

Apparently, Financial Fair Play doesn't apply to Manchester United. Not only is the club linked to massive transfers for center-backs Mats Hummels and Sergio Ramos, but the club is also said to be in the market for Gareth Bale. According to the Express (via Goal Transfer Talk), United are readying a fee of around €150 million to lure Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

Real Madrid Contact David De Gea for Potential Move

Per the report, Madrid is open to offers in order to sign Marco Reus.

Just don't tell that to Guillem Balague. The Sky Sports Spanish football expert revealed inside information on Wednesday, denying any potential move.

Iker Casillas Wouldn't Sign Lionel Messi to Real Madrid

"Real Madrid insist he is not for sale," Balague said (via Sky Sports). "The player and his entourage insist he is happy and he only really just arrived at Madrid. He has to improve, the defensive work has to be more efficient, but having to improve doesn't mean leaving a club."

Madrid's club president, Florentino Perez, also insisted the Welshman isn't for sale and that he remains a key cog in the club's future plans.

"Just as I can't imagine Real Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo, I can't imagine Real without Bale either," Perez said. "Bale is a key player. He has already done so much for the team and is a key part of our club's future."

"Every club knows that Gareth Bale will never leave Real Madrid and that the club will not discuss their star, no matter how much is offered."

Apparently, that includes €150 million.
