WWE Diva AJ Lee has been out of the picture for over a month, which has led to many fans speculating that she may be pregnant as she is spending time with husband and former WWE Superstar-turned-UFC fighter CM Punk.

Lee took to Twitter to shoot down pregnancy rumors and revealed that a neck injury that has plagued her since before SummerSlam in August is the reason she is sidelined:

Lee has been absent from the WWE since losing to Nikki Bella in a Divas Championship bout at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs on Dec. 14. The WWE wrote her off by having Bella spray her in the eyes with hairspray and blind her.

There were rumors that Lee may leave the WWE due to the awkward situation between her husband Punk and the company.

Punk blasted the WWE on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast and then announced last month that he has joined UFC, where he will have his first fight later on this year.

There was said to be heat backstage on Lee in the WWE due to her appearing by Punk's side at UFC 181 and her speech at the Slammy Awards where she went off the script and bashed the Divas division.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that despite all of this, Lee is advertised to return at the Jan. 23 and 24 live events in New Jersey -- not far from where she grew up. These events are the final events before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Philadelphia on Jan. 25, so she could play a role there as well.

Lee took time off from the WWE in April to move in with and marry Punk, who quit the WWE last January. Punk and Lee tied the knot in June, and the "Best in the World" revealed on Cabana's podcast that he received his termination papers from the WWE on his wedding day.

While there have been many rumors that Lee may leave the WWE soon, it appears the three-time Divas Champion is on her way back to the company.
