Jon Jones Next Fight: 'Bones' Denies Addiction, Was 'Caught With His Pants Down' [VIDEO]

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will air a full interview with Fox Sports tonight at 11:00 p.m., his first time speaking publicly since it was revealed that he failed a drug test less than a month before his scheduled title defense against Daniel “DC” Cormier at UFC 182.

Jones made more waves when he left rehab after just one day. In a short clip from the interview Jones made clear that he doesn’t believe he has a cocaine addiction. Rather, he owned responsibility for a bad decision and said he got “caught with his pants down.”

When news of the positive test made the rounds many UFC fighters took swipes at Jones for failing to represent the company and sport with honor. Cormier, a man with a noted dislike for Jones on a personal level, was the loudest critic.

"Just unfortunate," said Cormier. "Very sad. I just wish that he would get it together and be that beacon of light, beacon of hope that so many people need in the world right now."

Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis, a talented light heavyweight who feels that his lack of bombast has cost him opportunities for the biggest fights available, also lobbed some harsh words Jones’ way.

"They drug tested him and he popped," Davis said. "Now, I'm just a stupid fighter, but it sounded like, if they drug tested him, they were looking to do something if he popped. So I think you gotta do something. But then again, what do I know? I'm just a stupid fighter."

Another voice to chime in was Alexander Gustafsson, who gave Jones arguably the hardest test of his career. Gustafsson was in line for a rematch before an injury cost him his spot. He is set to fight Anthony “Rumble” Johnson this Saturday, with the winner lining up as Jones’ next opponent.

"It is bad for the sport, bad for the organization. We're supposed to be role models. You're supposed to stay above that sort of thing,” Gustafsson said.
