Anthony Pettis is a great fighter, but he's an even better quote.

Pettis Says He'd Fight Vladimir Putin

The reigning UFC Lightweight champion's next fight will be against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 185 this March. Since the fight is in Dallas, Pettis agreed to participate in a live chat on The Dallas Morning News's website Thursday afternoon.

In the Q&A, Pettis provided a lot of interesting insight into his fellow UFC fighters.

On Ronda Rousey's Popularity and Dominance:
"The biggest difference is the exposure. The women are just getting time now. The attention is there.

"I think she's a great athlete, Olympic level judo, and that's why she is dominating her division, she is so good in that area, she can be less dominating elsewhere. She's not a great striker. She's getting better. With time and dedication she'll be good. She also has a mental edge over all the girls in her fights."

On CM Punk Joining UFC:
I like CM Punk's attitude, because he came over with the right mindset, he wants it. But it's too early to see how good he can be.

On Whether He's Buying The Conor McGregor Hype:
"I like the Conor Mcgregor hype, there's a lot of attention in that division."

And Pettis dishes on a lot more than that in the lengthy interview. You can read the full collection of his remarks right here.
