Real Madrid Transfer Rumors: Marco Reus Will Not Sign With Bayern Munich, Shock Money Lined Up for Harry Kane

Borussia Dortmund will have to battle Bayern Munich for all eternity, but don't expect Real Madrid to do so this summer. According to German outlet BILD (via World Soccer Talk), the Bavarian giants have confirmed they will not be in the running for the services of midfielder Marco Reus.

3 Clubs Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez Should Consider Signing With

The 25-year-old has been subject to numerous rumors involving Chelsea, Manchester City Arsenal and Liverpool, but the heaviest links still remain with Real Madrid. Reus, however, isn't the only player with such rumors.

According to Fichajes (via Metro), Madrid is also preparing a shock move for in-form Tottenham striker Harry Kane. The 21-year-old exploded onto the scene in 2014 and now boasts a club-best 16 goals across all competitions, forcing talks over a new £35,000-a-week contract.

Real Madrid Prepare €35 Million Bid for Raheem Sterling

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke of his importance following a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

"We always need to have a good performance from the team," Pochettino said (via Metro). But it is true that Harry in the last months, in the last games, has been an important player for us. But I think Tottenham as a team is not only one player."

Tottenham supporters can rest easily, though.

The same reports have Los Blancos selling Karim Benzema in order to fund a move for Kane. You know, the same Karim Benzema that's been a catalyst for Real Madrid, providing nine goals and eight assists, second only to Cristiano Ronaldo. Should Kane move to Spain, it would be for a role similar to that of Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez...resting on the bench.
