NHL Road to the Stadium Series Watch FREE Live Stream Online: Kings, Sharks Prepare For Outdoor Game

Tonight at 10 p.m. ET, the NHL presents Episode 1 of the Road to the Stadium Series as the San Jose Sharks prepare to host the Los Angeles Kings outdoors at Levi's Stadium on Feb. 21.

Cameras will follow these two California rivals over the next month as this four-part series looks at San Jose and Los Angeles preparing to take their rivalry outdoors.

This will mark the second outdoor game of the 2014-15 campaign as the Washington Capitals defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 on a late third period goal in the Winter Classic on New Year's Day.

This is also the fifth game to take place under the Stadium Series banner in NHL history and the only one to do so this year.

Last season, the New York Rangers hosted the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils in a pair of Stadium Series games at Yankee Stadium while the Anaheim Ducks hosted the Kings at Dodger Stadium and the Pittsburgh Penguins visited the Blackhawks at Wrigley Field.

The Sharks and Kings are fierce rivals, and San Jose hasn't forgotten about Los Angeles coming back from a 3-0 deficit in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season to defeat them in seven games and march on to win the second Stanley Cup in franchise history.

The Sharks gained some revenge this season as they've won two of the three meetings against the Kings thus far.

San Jose had a 4-0 shutout win on Opening Night back on Oct. 8 and another triumph by a 4-2 margin on Jan. 21 while L.A. won the middle game of the series with a 3-1 victory on Dec. 27.

"When it comes to hockey we don't like each other," Kings defenseman Drew Doughty told NHL.com. "We want bragging rights."

As the Kings and Sharks get ready to take their rivalry outdoors, watch the journey unfold on the Road to the Stadium Series.
