WrestleMania 31 Rumors: Chris Jericho 'Would Like To See' Roman Reigns Win WWE Title, Daniel Bryan Turn Heel [VIDEO]

While many fans have revolted against Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho wouldn't mind seeing the WWE Superstar walk out of WrestleMania 31 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The Bella Twins Discuss Being 'Inspired' By Daniel Bryan and John Cena

The WWE Universe turned on the 2015 Rumble Match last month after fan favorite Daniel Bryan was eliminated early on and Reigns went on to win it from the 19th draw to a chorus of boos.

The company has tried to appease its fans by putting Reigns against Bryan in a No. 1 contender's match at Fast Lane later this month to see who will battle Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.

Roman Reigns Expected To '100 Percent' Defeat Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane

Rumor has it that the WWE will still stick to its original plans by having Reigns defeat Bryan at Fast Lane on Feb. 22 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, which may upset Bryan fans yet again.

The WWE will then likely have the leader of the "Roman Empire" top "The Beast" to win his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 at Levi's Stadium in California.

If that does happen, Jericho said he is okay with it and he'd turn Bryan heel to have a program with Reigns after the "Show of Shows."

"We know that Daniel Bryan is a guy that's super popular but we all know what Vince McMahon thinks," Jericho told Bill Apter of 1Wrestling.com. "Daniel is not a Vince McMahon prototype wrestler whereas Roman Reigns is. I'd like to see Roman win, I'd like to see him win the title at WrestleMania and see what do we really have with this guy. And if that's the case, then turn Daniel Bryan heel and put those two together, let them feud for the title back and forth."

This interview occurred during Royal Rumble weekend and was just recently posted.

Jericho said his fantasy WrestleMania 31 card would see Triple H vs. Sting, The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt, Rusev vs. John Cena, Bryan vs. Lesnar and Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as its top matches.

Jericho has said he will not be a part of WrestleMania this year as he is working on a special deal with the WWE through the rest of this month where he works only on house shows and not on television or pay-per-views.

Reigns vs. Lesnar may not be the ideal matchup for everyone in the WWE Universe, but Jericho is happy to see the former Shield member get his big shot.
