On the court, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat are having a few issues. The team is currently eight games below .500 and clinging to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. As for Wade, he has missed 17 of the team's 52 games, and he is no longer capable of carrying the team like he used to.

But being the competitor and the champion that he is, Wade still wants to get better and improve every day, and he has apparently extended that mindset to his life off of the court. According to TMZ, Wade is not hiding the fact that he is taking his wife, Gabrielle Union, to see 50 Shades of Grey, and he had some interesting comments about it.
For one, Wade says that he will not be one of those guys (of whom there are probably thousands) that are getting dragged to the movie by their wife or girlfriend; instead, he is owning the experience, proclaiming instead that he is the one taking her.
In addition to going to see the movie at all, Wade is also entering the show with an open mind, saying that he is excited to possibly find out some new tricks.
"I wanna learn something," said Wade. "I'm married! You gotta keep it up!"
Wade did not go into details about how much he knows about the film going into the show, but based on how popular the book was, it seems unlikely that he would not know about some of the kinkier aspects of the tale. But if that is what he and Union are into, then they will probably have a great time.
